Research

A key activity of GAMMA is its engagement in research. In collaboration with partners from academia and industry, GAMMA participates in Research Projects. GAMMA's employees have higher level academic educations, attend workshops and conferences, read, write, and review scientific publications, and teach at University level. GAMMA's research aims at the development of microwave remote sensing techniques and applications and covers a wide range of topics including, for example, the measurement, modeling and interpretation of active and passive microwave signatures of bare soil, vegetation, and snow, or the use of InSAR to map and monitor ground and infrastructure motion.

Successful R&D activities, after full demonstration and careful validations, are translated by GAMMA into commercial products, services, and consulting activities. The commercialization of products is done either by GAMMA directly or in cooperation with other distributors.
